This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Re: the location of the Keep On the Borderlands: I say it's on both, just like Blackmoor can be found both in Greyhawk and Mystara, and Kara-Tur exists both on Greyhawk and the Forgotten Realms. Alternate Prime Material Planes and all that jazz.
I am no longer posting here or reading this forum because Pundit has regularly claimed credit for keeping this community active. I am sick of his bullshit for reasons I explain here and I don\'t want to contribute to anything he considers to be a personal success on his part.

I recommend The RPG Pub as a friendly place where RPGs can be discussed and where the guiding principles of moderation are "be kind to each other" and "no politics". It\'s pretty chill so far.

Well, I think it was on Grayhawk, then Mystara came out in what, 1991?, and hardly anyone ever played(s) it, so now it's kind of back in Grayhawk.  I don't think it really matters though.  I suppose since technically B1 mentions Grayhawk, then the B series really belongs there, and WOTC then created a whole new campaign world to link all of the rest of them together.

For me, it all was in Grayhawk, as that's where we linked them when we were playing them in the early/mid 80s.  In fact, I remember having our characters escape Isle of Dread only to shipwreck on a coast with the most distinguishable feature being a large volcano with a white plume of smoke coming from it. ;)

I think The Keep is D&D's equivalent of Schrodinger's Cat.

Mmmmmm. Yes. Considering Frontier Forts of Kelnore is located in the Wilderlands setting near the City State ...
Blackmoor grew from a single Castle to include, first, several adjacent Castles (with the forces of Evil lying just off the edge of the world to an entire Northern Province of the Castle and Crusade Society's Great Kingdom.

Age of Fable

Quote14)Let's at least go back to the charming hypocrisy of bludgeoning weapons somehow being thought of as more merciful.

I always thought the cleric's weapon restriction was based on the (false) idea that medieval priests were forbidden to draw blood, and so used maces.

Age of Fable

Quote from: NicephorusI thought that is was splint mail that it was unclear if it existed, not ring mail.

According to Wikipedia ring mail existed but the term isn't used by historians any more, and splint armour was only worn on the limbs with another type of armour on the chest.
