ETA:  Given Paizo's historic stance about reprinting stuff (i.e. only "core" hardcovers, traditionally never AP/modules/companions/campaign setting material), it's not surprising that they would crowdfund this one, especially given the circumstances (rules for PF2E, with PF2E not even being out yet, and alternate books for D&D5E/PF1E).

When it got her in trouble she jumped on the oppression Olympics blaming everyone but herself. In any case like Steve Jackson and Frog God Games outrage it will do nothing at all imo. SJGames funded their new kickstarter despite the outraged SJWs claiming they would never play or buy another product from them again. I think Paizo kickstarter will also be safe. As at this point in the rpg gaming industry SJWs are both irrelavant and most gamers will back it .

So that is the #175 K barrier broken so now the book is going to be a 592 page 20 level Adventure path.

Is a 608 page Adventure path for $80 the best value book on the market?


Only if it does not get expanded to 624 pages at $350 000.

I just got a 900+ page book from FGG as part of their 50% off Pathfinder sale for $50 or $60 (one of their Lost Lands books - either The Blight or Bard's Gate, also came with free PDF).  Sale does appear to still be in progress.

So if page-count-to-dollar-spent is the metric, the FGG stuff is a better deal.  Also, I'd fully expect less social justice in an FGG book over a Paizo book.

Looks like they have extended the campaign, now another 15 days to go.
