Yesterday I picked up a copy of the Kevin and Kell the Roleplaying Game, based on the webcomic. I had never even heard of this game before. And that doesn't happen often. Here is a review:

Has anyone else ever encountered this game? Ever played it? Ever even heard of it?
I wasn't even aware there was a Kevin and Kell webcomic. Is it a worthy read?

It's an utterly banal newspaper strip, except that 1) it's furry, and 2) I'm pretty sure the author's way, way into hard vore because it's a major feature of the setting that despite living in a relatively modern society, it's a thing that the carnivorous species eat the (equally sentient and anthropomorphic) herbivorous species and this is a political controversy on par with... say... the minimum wage, rather than on par with the holocaust. And not in like, a punk-y, dystopian way, fox people just eat rabbit-people guts instead of spaghetti and shit.
Am I the only one here young enough that when I saw this threads title I thought of that nickleodeon show from the mid 90's, Kenan and Kell? Cause for a second the idea of an rpg based on that sounded awesome in a stupid sorta way.

I haven't had nickleodeon when I was a kid :P. But it sounds like it'd fit for a system tailored for Fresh Prince of Bel - Air. Though I suspect a storygame'd be a better fit here.

Nah, I'm in the age range that the first time I saw the title of that comic I was confused.
I haven't had a chance to actually read it yet. I have given it a quick view though. the concept that herbivores and carnivores living in peace while one group eats the other is just mindbogglingly stupid. The herbivores outnumber the carnivores. They can use firearms. Guess what would happen? Not many carnivores left in short order.
I read one setting where fish and insects weren't sapient but mammals, reptiles and avians were. So the carnivores ate a lot of fish. Or were considered murderers.

Well, for a certain value of peace. There's segregation whenever the author feels like getting political, and there's some controversy about herbivore/carnivore marriage.

So long as part of the population wants to eat the other part of the population, peace will not exist in any value.
I feel like the more productive portion of this conversation is brainstorming kid's TV RPG treatments. For example, the That's So Raven RPG, or for an older generation, the You Can't Do That On Television RPG.

I haven't read K&K in about 15 years, but I think you're significantly over-reading humor based around anthropomorphic animals. I kind of shudder at your interpretation of Wile E. Coyote.

I dunno, man. I've read more furry comics in my time than I'm entirely proud to admit, and the only ones that ever seem to put as much focus on sapients eating sapients as that are vore fetish comics.

I thought the same thing. Although I don't think I ever saw the show. One of the dude's is on SNL now.
I watched Salute Your Shorts. And Eerie Indiana.
I think its Kenan thats on SNL, The other dude just sorta faded out.
I watched some Salute your Shorts, don't recall the other though. I only had cable at my grandparents so there was a good bit of stuff I missed.

You should read The Sparrow

I think it's furry talk. Pay no mind.

I ain't exactly young, but yes, it is what first popped into my head. And then wondering how you'd make an engaging RPG out of the show...
(the show was a sitcom; dying is easy, comedy is hard.)

Vore is a fetish for the idea of being eaten alive. Soft vore is to be swallowed whole or engulfed and digested, hard vore is to be devoured piecemeal.

Why do people exist?

Don't feel bad, I got excited too. :(

Legend of the Hidden Temple is practically begging for an adaptation.

More than once I've considered making a dungeon based on it.

Let's avoid derailing this thread into a discussion about fucking furries.

...Dude.
It's a roleplaying game based on a furry comic. Still you're not wrong, let's keep this about the game rather than speculating about peoples' bizarre fetishes.

That's what I meant.
