All hail the great forum hive mind!
Any links to a list of D100 clones?
I know about OpenQuest, but I wondered if the rest of Chaosium's releases and BRP-like games have been cloned yet.
Yes, I have something in mind, but I don't want to retread for the sake of retread.
Thank you in advance!!
G.O.R.E. from Goblinoid Games, and Renaissance Deluxe from Cakebread and Walton both come to mind.
Basicroleplaying.org has a list of current d100 games, and is Chaosium's official forum too (I believe).
Are you looking specifically for clones or are you looking for OGL d100 rules?
The only clones I know of are G.O.R.E. (https://basicroleplaying.org/files/file/1-gore/) and D100II SRD (https://dreamscapedesign.net/downloads/).
For OGL, you can add OpenQuest, Legend, and Renaissance.
I am looking for both D100 clones and OGL usage of the D100 OGLs.
AKA, if its BRP and not Chaosium, I'm interested in learning of its existence, but my KEY FOCUS is seeing what Chaosium products have been cloned.

Well... Magic World is pretty much Stormbringer with the Moorcock filed off.
Which Stormbringer edition is it cloning?
How is MW different than basic BRP?

Elric!/Stormbringer 5.

G.O.R.E. clones the Call of Cthulhu version of BRP. The d100II SRD clones Chaosium's Runequest 2. Mongoose's 1st Runequest (MRQ1) has an SRD. Legend is Mongoose's 2nd Runequest (MRQ2) with Glorantha references removed. Legend also has a bunch of supplements that are OGL including: Pirates, Samauri, Vikings, Gladiators, Monsters, Blood Magic, Spirit Magic, and Elemental Magic. Magic World is an official Chaosium product and not open content.
No offense. Honest question: what is the point of a clone when the original system is easily available?

Can you find me a legal PDF copy of Stormbringer, please;)?
(Finding a not-legal one proved so trivial that I found one while searching for info about a lesser-known game. But I prefer my games to be legal:D).

For me, I am looking to see what people have done with the D100 system, and I am looking to see which of the clones have SRDs / OGLs / 3PP options.

Not OGL, but Mythras does have a 3PP license called Gateway (http://thedesignmechanism.com/writing-for-design-mechanism.php).

You can write supplements for the original system without having to get permission. You just say they're written for the clone, and then they get used with the actual game.
I think that was originally the idea behind clones like OSRIC. Then people started using them because a) actual game was OOP at the time and b) they were often better organized.
Other than that, I see no point. I have never heard of anyone using GORE.

Ah yes, Stormbringer makes sense. Never been able to get my hands on a copy. One day. Recently found Elfquest used but heard that the system is ill suited to the setting. Isn't Stormbringer more a setting than a system? I thought it was a mildly tweaked BRP with a different magic system.
I highly suggest Stormbringer 3e, the Games Workshop version.

Stormbringer is based on Michael Moorcock's Elric of Melnibone series. The magic system not RQ, but all about deals with demons, sacrifices and binding demons to do your sorcerous bidding.

Well, BRP where death is much less likely for PCs, and a magic system where you only traffic with demons.
That's different enough for me that I ordered Crimson Blades 2e, which is like the Chainmail-inspired OSR version of Stormbringer:).

Yeah, this;).
Love Moorcock and I have a 'copy' of Stormbringer around somewhere on pdf but I'm holding out for a hardcopy to actually sit down and read it properly. I want the St Andre/Perrin original.

The problem is, Stormbringer isn't easily available in PDF, alas;).

Dig around BRPCentral and you'll find some lists and 'family trees' that show an 'evolutionary' path of which product spawned which product, as well as edition timelines. Here are a couple of links: RQ Geneaology (https://basicroleplaying.org/topic/4245-rq-genealogy/#comment-65820), BRP Family Tree (https://s3.amazonaws.com/brpcentral-uploads/monthly_2015_10/Diapositiva1.JPG.c955a8997ef7598ded20146414cbf0c4.JPG)
