Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Quote from: Aglondir;1102782Why not create a bulleted list of the changes, and how they were improvements from 3E and 4E?
I may do, supposing I end up bored over the weekend.

Quote from: estar;1102559I like 4e better overall. The only thing I miss, and it is minor, is Passive Defense. It made sense to me with how it was setup in 3e. But in 4e shields still have passive defense except it is called a defense bonus.

But on the flip side your defense scores went up overall so ultimately it is a wash. And even if it wasn't it is still a minor issue.

Out of curiosity, why do you miss PD? Certain elements of it were nice and the core concept was good, but I found the implementation to cause some weird artifacts and silly edge cases.

Edit: Of course, I suppose DR-only has its own series of artifacts and silly edge cases...
