Watched the Great Courses of The Barbarians of the Steppes, covering 900BC to 1700AD, and it was a fun survey course. Been looking at my pdf of The Horde for D&D for awhile too. This would be a nice addition to bring in horse riding raiders campaign to my pile of campaigns.

Sword & Caravan has just the PC Class for that. And this book has all the timeline and NPCs for it.
