I read SenZar years ago and it was an over-the-top AD&D clone with an unabashed love for munchkins, aka a proto-Hackmaster...or early attempt at Exalted. Yes, I've heard all the web rants about the wacky authors and their claims of greateness, but my interest is how their product plays.
I am a big believer that how a game reads is not always how a game plays and sometimes, there's a big difference - especially in the hands of GMs of varying ability.
So....have you actually played SenZar?
I have the books (the main book and Creeping Death) and I would seriously play it if I could find anyone who was interested.
I'd play in a short SenZar campaign, if only to relive the glee of being a 13 year old munchkin again. I doubt I could stick with it very long though.
Never played it but I would, sounds like fun. Maybe not as a game day staple but once in a while wacky is a good time.

This sounds like the kind of game that would benefit from wacky authors with huge heads.
Bah to you two. I would totally go for a campaign and blaze Iron Maiden throughout.
There is a guy on my forum that plays it from time to time and has posted up some of his game sessions. It sounds insane, but fun. I don't think I'd have enough balls as a GM to run the sessions he's doing with it though.
