No plans. Although I've enjoyed the little kids that stop by, I'm really hoping not to see any trick-or-treaters this year.

I hadn't noticed that Halloween falls on a Saturday, which is the regular play session for one of my groups. It's a long-running Call of Cthulhu game. We should reach the other side of the Mountains of Madness for the Halloween session. So through serendipity, I've got RPG horror on Halloween.  ;D

Thankfully our house is so tucked away, we never get trick-or-treaters. Not a big fan of handing out candy if I can avoid it lol

It isn't always practical (especially if you have an ongoing campaign) but I like to try to get in at least one horror themed game around Halloween.

I hope to run Actual Fucking Monsters on Halloween. The only problem is I have but one player interested.

Not opening the door for any kids walking around with COVID. Halloween is just a Walmart candy redistribution/exchange project anyway. People should eat out of their own bags.

And I'm StreamYarding a session that night.

How bigoted of you to assume all the kids are diseased...

I just started running Castle Zagyg, but maybe for Halloween night after the trick-or-treating dies down the PCs might accidentally travel to Ravenloft for a bit.

I found out after we moved into the neighborhood that our street was a known kid-magnet. The number of trick-or -treaters has declined over the years. It's now down to about 200 or so kids. We enjoy seeing the younger kids and usually we have a drinking game for the adults related to the popular costume for the year.

I've done Halloween themed games in the past. (Last year was a one-shot Call of Cthulhu. The year before that was a Star Wars horror themed adventure.) But often the logistics of getting the game to occur close to Halloween has been challenging. Neither of the past two years offerings even occurred within 10 days of Halloween.

I bought this board game called "Horrified" mostly for the minis. They have seven classic monsters (Frankenstein monster, the Bride, the Wolf Man, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, the Invisible Man, the Mummy and Dracula) and got some family to help me paint them up. Now I just have to decide what sort of Halloween adventure to run in order to use the minis.  :o
