The revolution in Gnomemurder roleplay has arrived. Gnomemurdered 2e has now been released (http://www.pigames.net/store/product_info.php?products_id=553).
And, I should add, it looks awesome. Huge kudos to Brett Bernstein for his presentation.

Isn't there a Gnomemurdered forum and News and Adverts one as well?

It's good to be king.

Reading through it now. The formatting is tremendous, by far the best I've seen from PIG.

You betcha! Which, just like the Amber forum, does not preclude threads about the game being put in the general RPG forum. This isn't the D20-ghetto of RPGnet here...

Oh shit, you're right! I forgot to put a thread there too! Thanks.

Yep. It's also good to follow the system you set up. Of course, now folks from other companies can enjoy posting their advertisements in the main forum...
Seanchai
Pundit, they are quite right. This thread really should be in adverts unless some sort of discussion can be based around it.
Its right there in the OP. The mission statement of the thread can be read as: "Gnomemurdered may be the nicest-looking book that Precis has released thus far; discuss".
Of course, people can also feel free to talk about whether they got it, or plan to get it, and what they plan to do about it.

My brain isn't working today. What the heck is "Gnomemurdered"???
Is this thing a joke or a real RPG?
Was there ever a first edition, or is it like Hackmaster 4e which had no prior editions despite the "4th edition" notation?
WTF?
Sounds like a swine game to me. Doesn't it belong in Other Games?
Quote from: ConanMK;357655Is this thing a joke or a real RPG?
It would appear to be both.
It's a real RPG. It is fully playable. It's so innovative that you can opt to throw out the dice in lieu of using playing cards, arm wrestling, or even Bible trivia for the dreaded GnomeMurder Check. Five scenarios covering different genres are provided, including Murder, She Gnomed and Aliens Versus Gnomes.
Zach: thanks, but I don't really consider this my best. I just went with a different style.
Can I substitute Smurfs for gnomes, or would this undermine the fundamental premise? Because I've wanted a game about killing Smurfs for, like*, 30-odd years now.

(*Fuck you, Christopher Hitchens (http://www.vanityfair.com/culture/features/2010/01/hitchens-like-201001).)
I'm thinking that Smurfs are just Gnomes who once appeared on TV as part of their propaganda.

Its a real RPG, and deadly serious (within reason, there's some humour, but how humorous can one afford to be when talking about the Gnomish Menace?).
The first edition was a free edition published on my blog.

Just because a game is rules lite doesn't make it a Swine Game.

It would undermine the entire educational value of the product to substitute Gnomes for any other less authentically dangerous species.
However, you could certainly make a "Gnomes vs. Smurfs" scenario for the game. Alternately, I suppose you could try to do a scenario where the corrupt Smurfs were actually agents of the Gnomes.

Hurm. Gnomes in Blueface? Its possible. Will have to investigate further.

No, but "avant-garde" certainly treads that same territory:
Quote"Above all, GnomeMurdered is an avant-garde, rules-lite game meant to be truly innovative in a way no game has ever been before."
I smell a ham curing in the smoker. :p

Apparently your satire-o-meter isn't operating.

Are you sure it isn't yours on the fritz? I gave you a smiley and everything. C'mon -- "ham in the smoker"?
Now, about these Smurfs...
