Title: GameCraft Question!
Post by: Settembrini on March 22, 2007, 10:34:18 AM
Is there already stuff coming out Levi´s Forae?
is there a pdf with techniques or some nomenclature or anything along those lines?

What´s the status of discussion there?

I'm pretty sure all your questions were answered here (http://gamecraft.7.forumer.com/index.php).

Wow. Just Wow. You know I really need to check those links in people's sigs closer. I had no idea about the existance of that board.

It's a very good site. I'm there most everyday. It seems to have both story and trad type folks who are willing to get along together, and usually has some good solid techniques up for discussion.

Yeah, I've just read through a 1/2 dozen threads and so far nothing but good stuff. I'm so outta here. Catch you on the flipside clash.

Very slow.  Very productive.

Not one or the other of those - Both.

Heh.  I prefer to think of it as "stately."  But, yeah ... productive in part because people are willing to say to themselves "Hmm ... that post was thought-provoking.  I think I'll let those thoughts mull for a few days before getting back with a cogent, considered reply."

It can be frustrating - I'm used to faster paced sites - but there's a lot of gold there if you're patient.

Yeah, that's why I'm switching. I'd rather things be even slower than they are here. A bonus is that the reason for them being slower isn't the board being run by a wackjob. Of course Levi hasn't actually approved my application yet. I still hold out hope though since a number of people applied yesterday and I applied with my real name so he might not figure out which is me until it is too late. ;)

I lurk there a lot. Most of the stuff is way out of my league, but after letting it sink in for a couple of days, I steal stuff for use in my games :D

Really I don't think you give yourself enough credit. I'm not sure just how insightful something like this is:
QuoteI used to fudge and will gladly do it again - if that's what the players want. But my current group has a strict no fudging policy. It's kind of liberating, actualy, not caring about whether the pcs live or die and just rolling with the punches.

EDIT: Is quoting better?
