This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Hey guys,

So I decided to create a Dragon Juicer, and love it so far. Yet, being new to the game I dont really know any gear or equipment that I should be going after. (Weapons, Magic Items, ect) Any help would be great.

Thanks agian

I recommend the Palladium Books official forums.  Go to the Rifts subforum and you will probably get some good pointers.

As a Juicer, I suggest focusing on your 5 year plan.   What exactly do you want to achieve in that short time frame you have left of life?

As for weaponry, get something absurdly big.

That's good advice. For some more details on the absurdly big idea, without looking at the books, you'll be well served damage-wise and even carry some RP flavor if you carry a weapon (gun or melee) with any of the following words in the title. When not completely sure, aim for a base damage of at least 6D6 whenever possible:

Rune
Techno-Wizard
Plasma
Particle Beam
Rail Gun

While it might be slightly disadvantageous (not usually by much), avoid the following weapon types just because IMO, it would be uncool for a Juicer to carry one.

Laser
Ion

You're playing a character who is trading their life for ridiculous power. Juicers should play big or not at all.
Running: Dogs of WAR - Beer & Pretzels & Bullets
Planning to Run: Godbound or Stars Without Number
Playing: Star Wars D20 Rev.

A lack of moderation doesn\'t mean saying every asshole thing that pops into your head.

Alright guys thanks, never even thought about the pall. fourms, as allways thanks for the help.
