I think they should "lock up" (and worse) Bush and Cheney too, if it makes you feel better. Biden and Obama as well, while we're at it.

Granted I don't identify with any of these meaningless wingnut labels. But they should do something about all these unaccountable war criminals running loose after getting us into illegal wars, blowing up children (including extrajudicial killing of US kids, like Obama did) and funneling taxpayer dollars to their arms dealer buddies (and Big Pharma and Big Tech too, which also get a cut).

If someone falsely accuses you of a felony, then that's when the money goes away.

That's one of the reasons you have to sue them.

Yes, I know, it's Zak Smith. But as far as I know he has never been adjudicated 'defamation proof'. So yeah, he does have the right to sue for slander.

Honestly, more people need to start pulling out the legal cannons and firing broadsides. It's one thing to call someone an ass. It's another to accuse them of crimes that smear just by their accusation.

The interesting thing about defamation actions is that commonly the person comes out looking worse than they did before. Your attention is drawn to all sorts of details, and even if not, at the least the person looks petty and sensitive.

After three legal settlements over defamation he was on food stamps, he says. Which tells us that the settlements weren't very big. The small amounts tell us that it was "fuck off" money; the defendants decided it wasn't worth bothering contesting, like when people sue their hairdresser for a bad cut. So we have this whole legal system just for this? Really? Surely he can be a broke writer and porn guy without a lengthy legal process first?

This would clog up the court system very quickly. Already with our ageing and obese population it's looking like we'll end up with half the population working as carers for the other half.
