This one slipped under my radar, but it's a 300 page monster book in PF and S&W versions. Looks to be mostly new monsters with a handful of OSR monsters thrown in there (ghoul monkeys, pyre zombies, etc.).
I'm certainly not a fan of the FGG "one monster per page" formatting they've been using for the Tome of Horrors Complete and S&W Monstrosities; with the terse S&W stat block it seems so wasteful, I'd rather have a more portable slimmer book with compressed content, and I found that the S&W conversions of the 3E/PF mechanics in the TOHC to be lacking in many instances (no ranges or mechanical effects for a lot of critter special abilities, no mention that undead beings are indeed undead, etc). And the artwork they've been using does leave me cold, I'd rather there be more Matt Finch illos.
But I'm an unabashed monster book junkie and would love to hear some folks opinions of it?
Tome of Horrors II was pretty awful.
(Also not a big fan of their 15th edition prices. $40 for a PDF? No thank you...)
I didn't even like the first one.
