Lots of different kinds of board games, some are over complicated and fussy, just as many RPGs are but a lot are accessible and well designed.

Yeah this looks cool. The intention with Metarcade is that you'll be able to design your own adventures for others to play as well. Look like a cool throwback to the Infocom games and there's already a pretty healthy Twine community out there.
