This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Is it just me or do proportions seem way off on the half orc?

Those condition sketches are sweet. A bit pointless, but sweet.

Quote from: ExploderwizardStarting out as fully formed awesome and riding the awesome train across a flat plane to awesome town just doesn\'t feel like D&D. :)

I really enjoy the condition sketchings. It'd be neat to have condition cards or counters with that sort of art on it.

For those that would use them, anyway.

No. Why do you think I'm not totally sure.
Don\'t mess with cats we kill wizards in one blow.;)

I am not sure. What are the normal body proportions of a half-orc?

aheh...

Yes it looks a little odd. But its a non-(full)-human and there have been some really odd depictions of half-orcs and orcs in general.

That picture is just goofy (not in the good way), and would put me right off of playing a druid. To be fair though, the only druid art I've ever liked is a few of the interpretations from Magic: The Gathering, and only barely. I guess I've yet to see my "definitive" druid.

I kinda liked it. Pic's definitely goofy, but the pose and the antlers were reminiscent of Vadania, the iconic druid from 3e, which I kind of thought was a neat reference.

But yes its the ability to cast (some) spells in animal form, and yes the fact it is level 18 probably does much to mitigate it being game breaking.

I think its some sort of weird headress. Its been a recurring theme in the WOTC books. some gal with deer antler-esque or branch headdress. And usually an elf if I recall correctly.

See, I don't like that one either. She looks anemic, and all the doodads and dangly bits give off this fragile, fussy, "crumbly" vibe, like a showpiece wargame miniature you never dare use on the table because you'll break something off.

Sacrosanct

This was always one of my favorite druids.  Not necessarily because the actual druid looks all that great, but in the context of the entire piece.  He's got insect plague going on a mindflayer.  That's just a badass dude right there, and I want to play that ;)

D&D is not an "everyone gets a ribbon" game.  If you\'re stupid, your PC will die.  If you\'re an asshole, your PC will die (probably from the other PCs).  If you\'re unlucky, your PC may die.  Point?  PC\'s die.  Get over it and roll up a new one.
