I missed the announcement last month, as I don't often check my gmail, but it looks like InnoGames out of Germany has a follow up to Tribal Wars, which is what I usually play (since the Travian debacle).

Kind of an RPG-ish game, but you can definitely see the elements of village building/wargames to it. It's pretty subtle, though, and looks to be moved into the background a bit. I don't think I will have time in the near future, so someone let me know how this one plays. Perhaps we can get a group together to found a town.
I've been really enjoying this one, and with World 6 having just started it's a great time for people to join in. I've been wondering about founding a town as well.
