Figure out the answer to my question by asking yes or no questions.
My girlfriend's blood is splattered on the ceiling of my room, and I'm responsible. What happened?
Is any of her blood on you?
No.
Did the blood on the ceiling go directly from her body to the ceiling? (In other words, did it go there without first going into a container of some sort?)
Was it a accident.

No. (Yes to the question in parenthesis).
Quote from: gleichmanWas it a accident.
No.
Is the blood visible to the naked eye?
Quote from: Name LipsIs the blood visible to the naked eye?
Yes, easily.
Is any of her blood elsewhere in the room?
Is the girlfriend still alive?
Can we ask more than one question per post?
Quote from: Name LipsIs any of her blood elsewhere in the room?
Yes.
Quote from: gleichmanIs the girlfriend still alive?
Yes. Do you think I'd kill my girlfriend?
QuoteCan we ask more than one question per post?
Yes.
Quote from: PookaYes. Do you think I'd kill my girlfriend?
Just stick to the yes/no, we're asking the questions here.
Let's get this classic twist out of the way, are you and your girlfriend human?
Were you in the room when the blood got on the ceiling?
Was your girlfriend in the room when the blood got on the ceiling?
Does the blood on the ceiling represent a single event (as opposed to multiple bloody events over time)?

Yes, and I said the questions had to be yes or no - I can answer them anyway I want. Be glad I'm not answering like a pooka should (or am I ;) )
Is it mentrual blood?
Quote from: Name LipsWere you in the room when the blood got on the ceiling?
Yes.
QuoteWas your girlfriend in the room when the blood got on the ceiling?
Yep.
QuoteDoes the blood on the ceiling represent a single event (as opposed to multiple bloody events over time)?
Yes. It was over quickly.
Are you an artist?
Quote from: NicephorusIs it mentrual blood?
No. You're sick.
Quote from: Name LipsAre you an artist?
Yes, and a demented one too, but that has nothing to do with why her blood is on the ceiling.
Was your girlfriend upset when the blood got on the ceiling?
Are you a surgeon?
Did your girlfriend give birth?
Quote from: Name LipsWas your girlfriend upset when the blood got on the ceiling?
No.
Quote from: Name LipsAre you a surgeon?
Nope.
QuoteDid your girlfriend give birth?
No - I believe in sex after marriage.
Were either of you jumping on the bed?
Quote from: NicephorusWere either of you jumping on the bed?
No.
By "my room" do you mean that this is your bedroom?
Quote from: Name LipsBy "my room" do you mean that this is your bedroom?
Actually this occured in the living room, but it could have been in any room.
Were either of you on ladders, stepladders, standing on furniture, or something similar at the time of the incident (or very shortly beforehand)?
Was it painful for the girlfriend?
Was it the girlfriends idea in the first place?
Did this actually happen (i.e. not a created event to make a puzzle)?
Was blood getting on the ceiling the intended result of the event? (this is different from the "accident" question, because though the event might have not been an accident, the bloody ceiling might not have been an intended result)
Did you kiss and think of something funny so that you bit her lip, for which she smacked you, causing your head to jerk up and splatter her blood up there?
Quote from: Name LipsWere either of you on ladders, stepladders, standing on furniture, or something similar at the time of the incident (or very shortly beforehand)?
No, the ceilings are low enough to reach in the living room (then again, I am tallish) - ok they're tall enough for *me* to reach.
Quote from: gleichmanWas it painful for the girlfriend?
Slightly.
Quote from: Name LipsWas it the girlfriends idea in the first place?
Sorta.
Quote from: Name LipsWas blood getting on the ceiling the intended result of the event? (this is different from the "accident" question, because though the event might have not been an accident, the bloody ceiling might not have been an intended result)
I'll say yes as it was an unavoidable side effect.

Did you hold and direct the implement that pierced/cut her and released the blood?
Quote from: Name LipsDid you hold and direct the implement that pierced/cut her and released the blood?
No.
Did she hold and direct the implement?
No.
Did anybody hold and direct the implement?
WAS there an implement?
Quote from: Name LipsDid anybody hold and direct the implement?
Yes.
QuoteWAS there an implement?
Yes.
Does this involve tattooing?
Does it involve piercing?
So, there was somebody else in the room with you and your girlfriend, holding an implement, and using it in such a way that blood spurted out of her and got on the ceiling?
(just wanting to make sure I didn't miss something)
Quote from: CyberzombieDoes this involve tattooing?

QuoteDoes it involve piercing?
Strictly speaking, yes.
Quote from: Name LipsSo, there was somebody else in the room with you and your girlfriend, holding an implement, and using it in such a way that blood spurted out of her and got on the ceiling?
(Evals multipart statement)
No.
Does it involve body piercing, ending with a piece of jewelry embedded in her body?
Does it involve kinkier piercings, like her hanging from hooks or something like that?
Quote from: CyberzombieDoes it involve body piercing, ending with a piece of jewelry embedded in her body?
No.
QuoteDoes it involve kinkier piercings, like her hanging from hooks or something like that?
No. Imaginative, but no. It's really quite mundane.
Does it involve a mosquito?
Yes
heh.
Did a mosquito bite her, and get itself swatted by you while walking on (or flying near) the ceiling, leaving a blood spot?
Quote from: Name Lipsheh.

Exactly - the riddle is now solved.
Yay! In all honesty Dr. Avalanche solved it, though.
that was pretty clever.
