While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). So Obsidian are apparently doing a version of the Pathfinder deckbuilder for tablets. How is the cardboard of this game? Is it any good? Anyone play it, anyone a fan of it?

I've played it. There are lots of card types and card stacks...set up is a bit of a drag.

Although a read of the rules might lead one to think the game is complicated, playing the game itself is fairly simple. Turn over a card, bash the card, next turn.

It is fun, especially with a group of players, but a little limited. It's totally worth playing a few times, but I'd buy it only if the price is right.

A nice education blog.

I strongly disliked it. It's one of those games where there's a lot of process to obscure the fact that you have few genuine choices. That's okay if the game generates a fun narrative, but the Pathfinder card game doesn't even do that - it's very generic.

However, it's light, easy to teach, and has a D&D theme. So it's very popular.
