This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

How do you know you have a disease?  One of my stats had decreased and its score had turned red.  I assumed it was poison so I wasted a good bit of gold on a cure poison potion, which of course had no effect since I was actually diseased.  I know on the last tab of the stats section you can see how many diseases you have gotten during the game, but how do you tell if you have one at that moment?

I know this went up a while ago, but no one's seemed to help yet.

Diseases will show in the magic menu, under the "Current Enchantment" tab, and when you contract one it will show in your "status ticker" where damage handed out and taken are listed.  Red stats are permanent damage to stats from battling nasties.  They can be cured with a "Restore (Attribute) Potion" or by praying at the Chapel of the Nine.  Make sure you have no bounty for that second one, though.
No one was ever put in a history book for being a great conformist.
