Title: Julius Caesar
Post by: Bedrockbrendan on November 26, 2011, 03:11:50 PM
The wife gave me Julius Caesar by Columbia Games as an early Birthday gift (I told her I was interested after reading pundits review). It looks like a great game, definitely can't wait to try it out. Has anyone else played this?

Yep, I've played it. It's a fun, simple game that plays surprisingly well considering its scope. That said, it's not much of a solitaire game, you really need to have at least one other person who's "into" historical games to appreciate how well its designed.

I haven't played it, but I have several other (earlier) Columbia block games and I think they're generally somewhere between pretty good and excellent.
