Title: Endless Ocean
Post by: GrimJesta on February 14, 2008, 08:38:35 PM
This game for the Wii is a trip: usually there's at least some form of tension when you play a game, but this game is so friggin' relaxing I sort of melt into my couch. Still, I wonder about the replay value - the game is fun because of the sense of exploration, but once you've seen all the game has to offer I can't imagine you'd want to play all over again. It'd be a cure for insomnia though... so relaxing.

SCUBA diving sims... who'da thunk? Ayone else played this beast?

Yeah...it's very fun...and it takes a while to adjust to the chilled out gameplay. My girlfriend loves it...but she's kind of a oceanophile :D

I wouldn't really call it a game.  Feels more like an interactive encyclopedia of the sea.  It's not without it's charm but as far as lasting appeal goes, it fits a very specific and small genre.

I've been meaning to get it for the kids. I've looked for it in a couple of stores I've happened to be in and it wasn't in stock. I might break down and check out EBGames or something next time I'm in the mall.
