It looks like Morrigan is returning in the third installment.  Here is a link to the trailer:

With luck this will be more like the first installment than the second . . .

Yes, Dragon Age Origins is good.  It can get a bit repetitive occasionally but they do an awesome job of world building, inserting grey choices into the game, and have an awesome horror sequence.

It has some flaws but the overall experience was worth the time.

DA2 is much more marginal.  If you loved the first one then you may like the sequel but if you only liked the original then it may be less worth your time.

I'm a big Dragon Age fan. Liked both games, dig the pen and paper RPG...my big question is "Do I get it for the PS3, or spring for the PS4?"

Dragon Age 3 eta....fall of 2014.

But I want it now!

I really enjoyed DA 1 very much right up to the Dwarf underground section.  After a point I just didn't take to the continuous repetetive undergroundness.  Tried twice but both times quit at that point (a little sad as all the other stuff was done, lol).
Miniature Mashup with the Fungeon Master  (Not me, but great nonetheless)

That section was the most expansive, and it has the scariest, creepiest surprise at the end.

Teazia

I think I got nearly to the end- some dreams, and a "mother" of a fight! Is that the surprise you are referring?

For real!  Claudia Black is doing her voice still too.  Good news.  Was that Varric on the battlefield in the trailer?  Good stuff.

Varric; has to be with that fancy crossbow.

Bianca.  Good point.  I was cautious about the background story for this installment, with inquisition.  I'm pretty positive about it now, though.  I hope there is little reference to Anders in it.  Hate that creep.  I wouldn't mind seeing Isabella again.  I wonder what they may have Flemeth look like this time, if she makes an appearance.  It's possible they may have Stern show up in this one.  I always wanted more Anora, but she would be tricky to have in the new game, as Alistair or the Hero of Ferelden and the Champion of Kirkwall.  There will be many cool new characters, which is the main thing, of course.

As much as I liked Dragon Age: Origins, the city of Orzammar did wear on me some.  I took revenge by having Leliana pick pocket about every dwarf in that city!  Added the fun back for me, walking around the place.  The Deep Roads didn't have those issues for me, though.  Cool characters and tactical bits too down there.  Having the Ultimate edition that includes all the downloads may help this too, since one can do some of the download content before or between doing things in Orzammar  or the Deep Roads.
