Yeah, that's a TCP/IP connection. I just haven't figured out how to do (or if you can do) PvP.

Found it!

You go into the party screen (P) and you can toggle hostile status on and off.

Aaaand the final installment of this thrilling saga is that my 7-year-old daughter kicked my paladin's arse with her sorceress (Lvl 14 and 15 respectively). Once her merc finished mine off it was all over.

Having seen the power of the sorceress, I have started a new one named 'Britney'.

The ability of you to deal with a sorceress is probably going to depend heavily on the quality of your elemental resistance. You're too low a level to have the skill that shuts down all elements, but the individual elemental resist auras are ok in that they also add damage to other skills, including elemental attack auras.

Toggle to the appropriate one if you're having trouble getting close, use the charge attack and maybe a shield stun, then just toggle to whatever you use to kick spell-casting monster asses.

Or just be cool with your 7 year old beating you. That's kind of cute, and she'll be super-proud for a while, from what I know about most kids. So, whatever you get the most mileage out of. Kind of reminds me when my dad and I used to play Zork together.

Yes, I don't mind her killing me and cutting off my ear. But I shall take your comments under consideration.
