This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

- a free-to-download five-page storygame of four chiefs and no Indians -

Free to download here.

Who wouldn't want to download and playtest a free five-page storygame if the author didn't really know why he wrote it?

The author of this game basically isn't a storygamer (though he's played a few storygames). He's a trad/immersive roleplayer. He probably wouldn't play this game, except to entertain other people or broaden his roleplaying horizons.

This game is a generic, universal storygaming engine. It doesn't necessarily have Native Americans in it. It's never been playtested. In fact, it was dreamt up this morning.

I'd be grateful for your feedback :-)

PS I am not Swine! oink oink

Erm. I mean. Wink wink.
I did not write this but would like to mention it:-

I did however write this Player\'s Quickstarter for the forthcoming Soul\'s Calling RPG, free to download here, and a bunch of other Soul\'s Calling stuff available via Lulu.

As for this, I can\'t comment one way or the other on the correctness of the factual assertions made, but it makes for chilling reading:-

I would add more definitions or structure for what crunch is. I'd say a good start.

Omnifray

Yes, it could probably do with a sample character write-up and some pointers for Crunch.

But playtest will probably come first... and that can be the 2nd edition :-)

I've already revised the 1st edition slightly...

Thanks
