We got ourselves a PS2 for Christmas, and picked up Champions of Norrath with it. Nice game. My wife and I have been doing that as "couple time" every now and again. First time I've actually finished a game and actually been able to stand replaying it at the next level (like Diablo, it has three difficulties that you can work through). We're half-way through the second difficulty level and still having fun.
Has anyone else played this game? What did you think?
How about the sequel -- is it any good?
My (ex-)wife used to play it a lot. I tried it a bit, but it wasn't really my cup of tea. I understand the Baldur's Gate game that was for the PS2 was quite similar in style if you want more.

I haven't played the second one, but since you can port your characters over from the first one I plan on getting it if I ever see it in the bargain bin.
The first Balder's Gate : Dark Alliance was made by the same people as CoN(Snowblind).
They are also working on a similar game but with the Justice League (http://justiceleagueheroes.warnerbros.com/).
I played Baldur's Gate: DA 1-2 and enjoyed them in a mindless way. The games were just short enough that the format didn't get too old.
We did Baldur's Gate: DA on Gamecube. CoN blows it out of the water, IMO.
My pals and I were deep into CoN, and it's followup, for a good couple of months.
Then, much like D2 before it, it got old, and we moved on to somethin' else. :)
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II, Champions of Norrath and Return To Arms. Oh, my, how my wife and I played the HELL out of those games.
