Apparently, though it doesn't show it clearly in this screen only video, you use a throwing motion to throw your little plinging ball.  Yeah, I'm definitely going to get this one. The young 'un are going to eat it up.

I'm definitely looking forward to it, even if it's just a cool gimmick without much substance.  Point of interest is that Stephen Spielberg came up with the concept.

I've put a good couple hrs into this game now and it's a hell of a lot of fun.  It's one of those games that only feels right on the Wii.  It's a nice change to see an action puzzle game that isn't based on matching up various falling items.

I'd highly recommend this game to just about anyone.

Sounds good, I'll probably have to pick it up when it comes down in price.

Wife is loving this game now too.  We've had some really interest co-op and against party battles.  This is a very solid game.

But I would have to say the price point seems a little high and the reason I think it seems high is this:  The game looks, both in terms of presentation and general play like a simple puzzle game - and it is.   It's hard to look at other $50 games like Zelda and Metroid and compare them.  Those sorta epic games, you can see the amount of work that goes into them from the set designs, the music scores etc... Boom Blox though just seems simple and looks to be a $30-40 game based on that.

But, when it comes down to quality of play Boom Blox does certainly stack up with those $50 games.  It has a pure fun feeling to it, but you can always rent it for a weekend and give it a test spin.
