SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

– Spectrum Games releases Wild West Cinema RPG.

Spectrum Games is proud to announce the release of Wild West Cinema as a PDF product. It was designed by Dave "Grubman" Bezio and features art by Scott Harshbarger.

According to Spectrum President, Cynthia Celeste Miller, "Wild West Cinema is a role-playing game that basically says 'to hell with realism... just go out and have a gun fight at high noon!" It's all about recreating the type of action displayed in the Westerns rather than being a slave to historical accuracy."

The game system is best described as being old school, but with modern sensibilities. Fans of classic Old West RPGs will be just as comfortable playing Wild West Cinema as fans of more recent games.

Says Miller, "As many of our fans know, we take genre emulation very seriously at Spectrum. In fact, it has more or less become our niche. That's why we were so eager to publish WWC when Dave approached us. As I read the manuscript, it became obvious that this man understood the Western genre. More importantly, he knew how to use that understanding to design an RPG that is absolutely faithful to the source material. Hell, the stock NPC list alone demonstrates this fact. I mean, how can you go wrong with Kung Fu Wanderers and Soiled Doves? And wait 'til you see all the flavorful Special Rules!"

The PDF can be purchased at DriveThruRPG.com / RPGNow.com and includes a printer-friendly version as well as the normal bells-and-whistles version. Here is the direct link: http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product_info.php?products_id=79964

The print version will be available from Lulu.com within the next few days as well.
