Title: [Wicked Wyrd] Blogs, Book(let)s, and Babes!
Post by: candelaris on June 10, 2011, 05:37:45 AM
First of all there are no babes (unless you are a fan of chubby nerds) but there is most definitely a blog and also information about upcoming products.

Wicked Wyrd Games is a one man enterprise run by myself with occasional contributions from other individuals in the gaming industry or who are trying to break in and get their name out there.

At the moment we've got a minimal online presence at the Wicked Wyrd blog (http://wickedwyrdgames.tumblr.com/) and a Facebook fan page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Wicked-Wyrd-Games/160785383986576) but I'm hoping to really ramp up advertising and interaction with a few online communities in the coming months.

To put it simply Wicked Wyrd Games will be focusing on simple and easy to understand games with a focus on storytelling and role-playing. The plan is to give away our products in PDF form (with potential for POD type stuff later on) and encourage people to donate what they feel is appropriate for the product.

At the moment there are two products in the works. One is Island City Horror, a zombie/Cthulhoid mash-up that's rules light and takes only a few minutes to create characters and get playing. The second is called Bazaar: The Black Market and is a more typical modern fantasy type supplement set in an underground town beneath the city of Boston.

Island City Horror is close to entering its "beta" stage while Bazaar is still in very early development. It's my hope to share these and many other products with you folks in the future. Stay tuned to this thread for news, giveaways, and information as it's available.

Have fun and stay Wicked!

Wicked Wyrd Game is happy to announce that Island City Horror, our first venture out into the gaming market, is now available as a free download. I'm hoping this "mini-supplement" will give people a taste of the possibilities and get you excited for upcoming releases.

If you'd like to download the PDF, follow this link (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=UV5FZ1LE) and download the file titled "City Island".

If you like it, please consider donating to our IndieGoGo campaign so that we can keep making products you like.

If you hate it, let me know why and consider donating anyways. With your feedback and contributions we can continue improving our products.

Enjoy! :D

Title: Looking For Playtesters!
Post by: candelaris on June 16, 2011, 10:29:55 PM
Update

Bazaar: The Black Market is now ready for playtesting and Wicked Wyrd Games is looking for an active group to test the rules and give feedback on the game. I'm looking for people who'd be actually to test the game in action at a table with some players. Gamers experienced with different systems would be a plus.

The play test edition is just a chunk of text (I'll hopefully be doing layout/editing when my IndieGoGo campaign picks up speed) with no graphics but I'm hoping to get some useful feedback on the system and setting.

If you're interested in playtesting please contact me via PM or via email at nightsidesamurai at gmail dot com

Thanks :)
