This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

-- Spectrum Games to release special version of the Slasher Flick rulebook.

Spectrum Games is pleased to announce the impending release of Slasher Flick: The Director's Cut, an elaborate, full-color version of the core rulebook with an all-new layout, additional material partly culled from the expansions, and an introductory adventure.

According to Spectrum president Cynthia Celeste Miller, "This is not a second edition of the game. Fans of the game can get by just fine with their copy of the old rulebook. This is simply a deluxe version for those who want an 8.5 by 11" book with color interiors and some new bells and whistles. That said, however, it has enough interesting new stuff to make it a worthwhile purchase."

Slasher Flick: the Director's Cut is to be released in early August and will be available both as a hardcopy book and as a PDF product. The price has yet to be determined.
