Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Nothing to see people, sorry for wasting your time.

This site has a design forum. If this isn't just another attempt to shill your game, I suggest re-opening your thread there.

In order to have a comeback, don't you need to have arrived first?

Hey, that's unreasonably rude. I realize this is theRPGsite, but grubman here isn't deserving of that.

I've read grubman's shit for years now on at least three forums, and he's a self-aggrandizing douchebag who pops in when it serves his purposes to pimp himself and his shit, usually in that order.

Yeah, I've read it a lot longer than that, and part of the reason he doesn't talk more is people /just/  like you. He is interested, he wants to talk about game stuff, I know you find that strange and all. But I don't.

Then he can join the conversation about games going on here daily if he has something to say.

Silverlion, you write and publish games, but you're also a regular contributor to discussion on theRPGsite and you manage to do without referring to yourself as an "Internet celebrity" and "superstar".

And that's as much of a shit as I care to give on this topic.

Awesome, Grubman.

I've really enjoyed, and gotten quite a bit of use from X-plorers and the Phoenix Barony.

Bought.

As I said, I've read his posts on three different forums for several years - I don't need you to tell me what I've seen with my own eyes.

Well, after a lot of life changes including a divorce, job transfer, and my dad dying, I pretty much left the forums for the last year and a half (so not really sure where you were reading my posts).  I pretty much gave up game writing.  I felt inspired to do this and started work on it in earnest, and thought I had created something pretty good and wanted to share.

I had doubts about coming on this site, but I figured I was giving away free copies of the game and there are a lot of people who like the OSR here and some people I respect, so why not.  Perhaps it was a mistake, since I didn't plan on getting attacked out of the gate.  Not sure what I did to deserve it...maybe that's what I am and nobody else has ever bothered to tell me.

Oh well, I'll see about getting this thread removed and take the free copies someplace else.  Sorry that I apparently offended you so bad (Black Vulmea).

Good, because he sent me a copy of the pre-release draft and I have to say it is rather good.

Whatever this thread was about I am extremely sad that Grubman got chased away.

I like both X-Plorers and Phoenix Barony.
Swords & Wizardry & Manga ... oh my.
(Beware. This is a Kickstarter link.)

You mean ran away with his tail between his legs?

This is exactly why I respect all the designers who take part in the day-to-day here, rather than just popping in to shill. Silverlion and soviet, to use two examples, post on a regular basis and are willing to face disagreement from actual gamers without folding up like cheap tents in a stiff breeze.
