The game's dark fantasy theme isn't associated with horror by the way. That's a frequent question I receive.
It's a mythological high fantasy universe in a darker perspective.
I tend to be a bit reserved about the system for the following reason. I don't want anyone to copy it and pass it as their own, sense it's the heart of the game every single action you take is pretty much tied to the system in a way or another. I've been criticized for taking such stance in the past and I can totally understand why. However, it's a decision I feel it's necessary now in the early stages of the game.

DMCA takedown notices are a private matter. There's no need to point out names or shame any sources as the point is to reach an agreement to remove infringing material in the friendliest way possible.

It's important to understand not all publishers act in the same way.
The word here would be deterrent, more than anything else.
Publishers such as WoTC allow for fan content to be sold under the OGL. K&L doesn't. To sell content for the game, first you'd need to purchase the non-exclusive license. Or you could distribute it for free. Whether the game will ever be available under OGL terms remains to be seen. However, there are no plans for it in sight.

While you're entitled to have your own opinion, it doesn't mean what you think is true is actuality. People will always speculate things. I'm just rather intolerant of abuse of the DMCA, specifically, spurious takedown notices, and seeing an out-of-place notice on your website raised some significant red flags.
Your refusal to provide a straight answer about the nature of those notices, coupled with Googling about you, your game and your behavior simply confirmed my suspicions that you have a tenuous grasp on copyright law, and, in general, you respond poorly to any criticism or questioning that isn't flattering.
Well, thanks for your feedback. Protecting my IP is something I take pride in, and DMCAs are a big deal. Just because there's a statement on the game's website doesn't mean it's being abused. It's rather educational in my opinion. That's all there's to it. Only pirates and infringing abusers would be tormented by it really. I'm against naming and shaming so unfortunately you'll never publicly hear me mentioning any sources.
On a special note: It’s ok not to be perfect, I take pride in being imperfect.
My game is also imperfect. As for worries about behavior, everyone’s gotta take a leak.
No regrets on my end. There’s nothing you can find on the web that would make me feel shame or regret.

q. How did you get into TRPGs?
Growing up as a child a came across a kid who played D&D and I found it pretty cool. I Always had a big imagination, although I was out the tabletop RPG scene for several years when I moved to the US. That contributed to the fact Knights & Legends is a truly unique tabletop RPG game.

Its exclusive Ludens game system or LGS.

The game is so unique, I'm really scared my ideas of nearly 5 years would get stolen.

It's true I had to take action, unfortunately. Only because I take pride in my work and protecting my legacy. You'll never see me mentioning sources though. I'm against naming and shaming.
q. There seems to be some hostility towards you in one single spot on the Internet, why is that?
I've been a victim of so much bias for being born in South America. Not only that it's really tough to keep moving forward when you hear all kinds of harassment towards you. But I did it, my game is now in the top 8% best selling titles. I've moved on past all the claims that I didn't know English, poor grammar, etc... I was even called Autistic, in which I quickly moved in, urging the public to be a little more sensitive about the topic. Autism is not something to be made fun of!
q. Are there any big releases coming this year?
Right now I'm focusing in providing weekly/monthly free supplements, after everyone catches up I'll focus in another big release.
q. How do you keep the prices so low?
K&L was never about the money, over 40% of earnings were used to purchase artwork for the game and its Supplements.

Absolutely! Never give up on your dreams.

Sure, Hideo Kojima, a genius and very popular game designer. Quentin Tarantino, famous movie director/actor, he speaks his mind.

Moving on, Silver status on DTRPG accounts for a little over 8% of titles on DTRPG. It does not mean that your product is in the top 8% of best selling titles on DTRPG.
Per current ratings from https://www.drivethrurpg.com/metal.php, Adamantine, Mithral, Platinum, Gold and Electrum (all better selling than Silver) account for the top 6.11% of titles on DTRPG (i.e. those levels have all sold better than Silver).
As such, being in Silver status means you're in the top-selling 14.44% of titles on DTRPG, not top-selling 8%.
And, PLEASE, do share a link to any evidence whatsoever that there's been any bias/hostility towards you for having been born in South America.

V is something completely unprecedented in the TRPG market and Knights & Legends is about to make history as the first to implement this bold new idea, and making it possible.
What is Revelation-V?
By now it comes as no surprise most if not all RPGs, including video game ones, were made possible thanks to D&D. Some of us disregard Video Games as simply not entertaining or uninteresting, after all what's better than playing with real people right?
Knights & Legends seeks to unify both virtual and physical into one, and that's part of Revelation-V. Part tabletop, Part virtual, the latest entry to the K&L saga aims to bring together both markets by showing it's possible to have fun playing K&L, both solo and with company.
The video game part of Revelation-V will focus in delivering the adventure from another perspective. Take control of Steiner, Lilith, and Caelis, elite warriors of the Shadow Lords cult as they uncover the lost treasure of Flora Sanctum.
The PDF part of V, will focus on your playable characters and a different path. While featuring the elite warriors previously mentioned above, including the choice to uncover the treasure hidden in Flora Sanctum yourself.
The game will be playable in your web browser simply by clicking on the html file provided. While the other half will be played like the previous books, in PDF format. Open your mind to this opportunity and enjoy it to the fullest!
One of the coolest things you'll experience in Revelation-V (html), is that you earn DTRPG coupons when you play. While I won't specify the free products included, it will take several playthroughs to get all 3 coupons, as they range from common to rare. You could get them all in one shot, but it's very unlikely. Regardless, the web browser game is designed with replays in mind, and only takes 10 to 15 minutes to complete. Today Sun the 31st @ 4:00 pm (1600) EST, I'll be premiering a Revelation-V video on Youtube. I'll be available to chat and interact with the public while the premier runs. NH's core book will work around what we already know about the world and its lore. It will be set 50 years past the events of the rogue priest campaign. Also apologies for the late response, I'm on vacation for a couple more days.
During the last year I've spent countless hours adapting K&L to fan demand trying to reach that perfect balance. Now I'm working on a new arc for Knights & Legends Tabletop RPG that introduces an enhanced (advanced) core system, and a unique storyline that will branch out from the NH rule book. The book will feature cool new systems such as, nation building, family tree, while incorporating all previous rules and existing lore, plus new formulas for combat and task resolution. Spells and skills will include even more details with new limitations to increase the challenge. I'm estimating a minimum of 200 pages while keeping the price below $10 for digital and $20 for hardcopy. I really appreciate all your support in the last year. Welcome to the K&L's June newsletter. Apologies in advance for the delay, some were left wandering, what happened!? I assure you everything is fine. While many of you have already heard, I was overseas for the entirety of the month of May. Set to explore one of the wonders of the world, in search of inspiration for K&L New Horizon. Which by the way will be available to you sometime during Q1 2020.
Nothing fascinates me more than Inca culture, I've learned of many Andean Gods while eating like a glutton in the world's finest cuisine. Raided a century old dungeons in the depths of an abandoned castle, survived an earthquake, and much more... My mind is overflowing with great new ideas waiting to be written in K&L's highest book yet. I promise you, New Horizon will not disappoint you. I must get back to writing, please look forward to the July's newsletter as new information about New Horizon will be released.
