This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Warden Foundation psychics predict that Reactor Number Four at Chernobyl National Power Plant will explode in a cataclysmic event tonight, spreading radioactive death over Eastern Europe. The disaster exposes an underground prison laboratory. You are an elite occult hit squad assembled to rescue psychic teenagers during a nuclear meltdown.Radioactive horror for Veterans of level 5 or greater.

The late 20th century setting of Wretched Darkness is the assumed setting of the game. While you only need Wretched RPG to play, Wretched Darkness tells you more about the Beyond, the Apostles of Pain, additional Fear effects, how to run a horror game set in the late twentieth century, and more about this dark and hidden world. Over 50 pages, over a year of work, tons of research into 1980s USSR and influenced by everything from russian sci-fi novel Roadside Picnic to the HBO series Chernobyl and the Stalker movie and video games, this is a high octane, kick-ass scenario for Wretched RPG. Send me a DM here or on X and tell me what happened in Pripyat.
