What gives? Wrestling comes on after Eureka on Tuesdays. What does wrestling have to do with sci-fi? It's a pretty worthless channel apart from a few good shows (a few = less than 4 in its history). They don't even show an sci-fi movies. They are all really bad horror or animal attacks movies. I don't get it.
Brett,
Its been this way for at least maybe TWO years now. (Did you just get cable?)
Its how they pay their bills. The company that owns Sci-Fi also own the Wrestling Show. People complained about this 2 years ago. We're stuck with it.
Hey - at least its fiction.

I never really watched the sci-fi channel, because they always had crap on, but now I'm into Eureka. I watched it like 15 years ago when they had the Planet of the Apes series on, as well as The Prisoner and other good shows.
Chemically enhanced gladiators fighting battles wth predetermined outcomes and transmitted into homes around the world via sattelite is kinda sci-fi when you think about it...
But yeah, that channel has been sort of crappy since they quit showing MST3K and it wasn't all that great even then.
I can see where you're coming from on that.
The real bummer: The nights I had to work till 9:30pm, the wrestling show would sometimes go longer than usual if it was supposedly "live!" and I had to stay up later to catch the replay of the new EUREKA episode.
By-the-way - the latest episode....
Do you think that one character is really gone? Sure seemed pretty final. (I'm referring to the Wedding Day/Time Loop episode)

I think he is, Koltar. Now Carter can get together with Allison like in the alternate time line. Of course, you never know :)
They actually allow the wrestling to go over? That is bizarre. You'd think they'd edit it down to the proper time. Of course, you'd also expect wrestling to NOT be on the sci-fi channel.
Yep , they do let it run over.
So, if you're using something like TIVO or a DVR - program it for the first showing not the second one.

I always had that problem when trying to watch Stargate SG-1 at 5PM Saturdays on the local Fox channel. They would either air baseball early and SG-1 would come on late or they would switch it to 1PM to accommodate the baseball shortly thereafter. They make more money with baseball, so everyone else has to suffer. I wish there was FCC regulations that state that programs have to air at their designated times.

What, and allow the federal government to inhibit free commerce? Why, that's un-American.
!i!
(P.S. Yeah, wrasslin' on SciFi sucks, but it's been a long, long time since SciFi was strictly for science fiction. First, it was just bad, bad adaptations to sci-fi novels, then it was lame non-sci-fi reruns, then wrestling and the like. Anything for a buck.)
