This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Now I liked the young ones when I saw it on MTV and PBS heap many moons ago.

BTW, why the  because I liked married with children?

Quote from: AkrasiaAnyhow, recent (i.e. within the last 10 years or so) comedy series I find rather amusing include: 'Seinfeld', 'Curb You Enthusiasm', 'The Office' (especially the British version; but solely thanks Steve Carell, the Yank version isn't too bad at all; the French version is ... well, best not to talk about it!), Fawlty Towers (oops, sorry);  Scrubs; 'Black Adder' (sorry again);  and, well ...

And ... Scrubs is 'conditional' ... :p

Why are you apologizing for Fawlty Towers and Black Adder? Those shows are hilarious. Much funnier than Spaced or Blacks Books.

Yeah I agree, but they're older than 10 years.

Ah... Incidentally, it's interesting that you like the US version of The Office. I was a big fan of the UK show and I was worried when they announce that they'd be adapting it here. And it was shaky at the beginning. But it's great now! It's nice to know that some folks across the pond like it too.

"What fish?"
