This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

So, Supernatural is back on the telly

I don't know how many hereabouts are fans of the two fisted pulp/urban fantasy/horror show Supernatural wherein the brothers Winchester do battle with everything from Satan to Nordic Gods to poltergeists and werewolves, wandering the earth in a 50s muscle car, but probably a lot.

A ripping good watch normally but I think it's starting to get a bit repetitive as we push into season 9. The theme of one brother making a pact and not telling the other brother, well I mean how many times have they done it so far in the show? It feels like a lot.

I want to keep loving it but I think they should probably backtrack to their roots or something and dial down the brotherly betrayal elements, it's starting to look a touch faded. Lord knows how much money they've made from it so far, but surely they could afford to experiment in new directions.

Omega

Didnt they recently do a sequel to the LARP themed episode?

I think Felicia Day made a comeback last season.
