You are like a cult member.  All of your language has been programmed into by reading pundit's post.  You don't even know what you are talking about, but you've found a strong worldview that appeals to some of your values (mainly your desire to think simplicity and be antagonistic) and have latched on to it.  It's embarrassing.  

I do not support Ron Edwards.  I tend towards the traditional style of gaming, myself.  But you are so lost in your strange little black and white us vs. them world that you can't even see that.  

I know this may never actually into your mind, but there is a chance, so I'll repeat it here.  Gaming is a hobby with many different approaches.  You can play as you like.  Someone else enjoying a very different style is not an attack on your style.

I say this same thing to people who utterly and ignorantly condemn traditional gaming.

My antagonism was in order to goad the Forgeites on this site into some form of action and hopefully get the message back to their mentor that he was being found wanting in the practical application of his "theories". As others who know of Ron's ways have told me-he isn't bothered by such antagonism as mine. In fact he uses it himself (his brain damage slur was designed to cause enough bad press to get him some notoriety and increase the sales of his crappy games).
If we two can have a civil conversation after we have been insulting each other, then I'm sure that Pundit and Ron Edwards could too.

Yes. I've been on the Forge before many times (and this evening) reading his stuff. I try to make my own mind up you know. I don't automatically trust Pundit's view on things. You have to know about something before you can be critical about it with any effectiveness.

I'm sorry. I should have been clearer.  I understand what is meant by Forgeites in general, though I consider it a monicker that lumps a wide range of people together, most of them positive forces in the hobby.  What I meant is who are the Forgeites here on this site?
