In the Disney Wars celebration over in UK Disney announced the return of Daisy Ridley as Rey Palpatine.

Do these idiots never learn?

Here is why this forum tends to be so stupid. Many people here think Joe Biden is "The Left", when he is actually Far Right and every US republican is just an idiot.

I heard they are going to pair her up with Groogu to make her more marketable.
This may backfire.

While i enjoyed Andor, it felt like it wasnt really star wars. Maybe thats why i enjoyed it so much. Its the only recent star wars product i liked, and it seems like this trend will go on in the future.

I like Daisy Ridley, but the only way to continue Rey's story is for the new movie to replace Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker.

Which you know they won't do.

I feel sorry for her, her career was really hurt by the Disney Wars trilogy, I don't blame her for taking the big check from the rat.

I hope Daisy got paid up front, because the chances of this movie actually getting made don't seem very good to me.

LOL, it's the rat, they don't pay upfront, they barely pay after you deliver.

And leave the rotten stump?

The entire sequel trilogy should join the holiday special in the bin of bad star wars ideas.

Kathleen Kennedy just needs to be removed from LucasFilm by now....

If you get rid of Force Awakens, you get rid of Rey, which defeats the purpose of giving Rey her own movie.

Seriously, If I were to even desire more sequel era media, which I don't, I'd say scrap everything and start over. Force Awakens was the source of the rot that infested Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker. They can even keep Rey and Finn and Poe and all that, just... the stories they told were incomprehensible garbage.

*Edit* Prequel/sequel

i don't think it's salvageable at this time. i'd rather they looked at The Old Republic for possible new Star Wars content than tried to fix the mess with Force Awakens and later sequels, tbh.
if you open your mind too much your brain will fall out

Poor John Boyega, he really drew the short end of the stick.

BoxCrayonTales

Give it time. Eventually they'll reboot it.

Don't you worry, they would ruin those movies/shows too.

Lots of people thought he was going to become a Jedi, but no, had to push him down to push up Rose.
