I really don't give half a 4 letter word about the oscars. They're really a bunch of snobs, the people wo decide who gets the awards, and they've pretty much openly sworn that no "sci fi" wovie will ever win any of the serious awards, or even be nominated for any. So to hell with them.
Also, if I didn't already feel nothing but rejection for the oscars, the time they basically let jessy jackass intimidate them into giving the oscars out based on race would have made me stop caring about them at all.
Personally, I'd rather follw the golden razzies awards, but those don't get telecast as much.
*sigh*
I'd be lucky to have seen two or three of the nominated films. Is it just me, or does it seem difficult to find a film that is both good quality and entertaining?
