This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

By the way, in case anyone's interested and if Monte Cook will indeed be there, I'm goint to try to convince the GM for the afternoon True20+Gamma World game to, at some point, say:

"Rocks fall.  Everyone but Monte lives.  Take that, Monte!"

Will it be brash to ask him to autograph the PHB...or just geeky..

Koltar, I'm not sure where that is it is something with which I am unfamiliar.

Crystal Lake is a far far far NW suburb of Chicago - halfway betwen Chicago and Rockford...

Joe - you'll be there? probably there already...

I'm off to shower and then to Games Plus (I'm only in the afternoon slot with HinterWelt)

yeah...a shower...learn it, bitches.

I can't make it to Gen*Con.

I hang out with Brantai pretty regularly, and Joewolz and I used to game back when I went to school in Carbondale. I'd make the trip to visit more if I had a working car... x_x;

I live in the St.Louis-Edwardsville area in Illinois, right now, though, so if people are in the area, they should let me know. ^_^

Here's my website. It's defunct, but there's gaming stuff on it. Much of it's missing. Sorry.

I've got a blog. Do you read other people's blogs? I dunno. You can say hi if you want, though, I don't mind company. It's not all gaming, though; you run the risk of running into my RL shit.

I have always wondered about gamers who post on forums and go to conventions. Who would you like to meet and has there been occasions where you met up with someone who you didn't get along with online?

Some of my American (European) gamers friends have told me that they have met folks who they really don't get along with online but have no problems hanging out with off line.

I'm not there yet, but yes, I'll be at GenCon.  I can't wait until I'm up in New Lenox again, either.  I know I'd like to go hang with Bill!

Ah, Gencon... I'm looking forward to it. First time attending. You'll see me there.
