The Gods have played cruel joke on the world and has allowed me to reproduce.:D
That's right, I'm gonna be a daddy!
The baby should arrive in early December.
Woot! My wife and I are very excited. :D
Hey, that's wonderful! Congrats to your and your wife!
So, are you wanting a boy, girl, or just healthy?

I'll be just as happy either way.
Though I fear what a teenage girl might do, some day, to my mental health. :haw:
Congratulations!

Thanks Jeff.:)
Congrats! Many happy returns as it were on that GIFT :) *LOL*
You know, I was thinking, besides Aragorn and Arwen, Eomer and Eowyn are also unclaimed names...baby naming advice....hmm, maybe you should just write me off. ;)
Congrats! and remember, the Epidural is your friend.

Haikeeba! Congratulations. Parenthood is a wilder adventure than any Encounter Critical module ever was.
Or. Umn. Wasn't.
Well, I don't know you personally, but I thought I'd pass along two things:
- Congrats - they change your life in so many unexpected ways, but it's amazing.
- Don't fear the teenage girl - fear the teenage boy. The girl will have you wrapped around her figner by 5 anyway (and that's if she's taking her time in the process, otherwise it will be much sooner), so there's nothing you can do. The boy will be a completely different story...
Your moves
will vary so this advice is meaningless... :D
Congrats - good luck!

I'd love to give the baby a super geeky gamer name but Kim won't have any part of it. She's not a geek like us, but I think I got her interested in the Sci-fi channel. :D

Thanks Bill.

Thanks James. I fear a teenage girl more for 3 reasons:
#1: as you said she would have me wrapped around her finger very early on.
#2: In know what being a teenage boy was like, I have no idea what it would be like for her.
#3: I know what teenage boys think about teenage girls. Good thing I already have guns. :D
Yeah - that's the old joke. If I have a boy, I only have to worry about one penis. If I have a girl, I have to worry about all the rest...
I know what it's like to be a teenage boy, too :p The problem is, we don't know what it's like to be the father of a teenage boy! :pundit:
Have no specific fear, just a kind of general sense of unease. That way, you're covered. Ten fingers, ten toes - all the rest will work itself out. :D
Congratulations Mcrow.
I have no useful advice about raising children (yet) that hasn't been given. So, I give this instead, based on my observations of the men in my life as they did as you've done: you are about to die; the man that rises will not be at all recognizable to you are you are now, for fatherhood never fails to transform a man into something that his prior self would believe to be possible. Don't be surprised to see yourself embracing ideas, ideologies, or other things for love of your child that previously would've been anathema to you, and then claim it being a result of maturity. (You'll likely be right in the latter part.) Few things remake a man like becoming a father.

I have no firearms, but I'm giving science 12 years to make with the affordable fusion rifles.
Either way, the dark gods are still awaiting their sacrifice...
I mean... congradulations on your soon to be successful exit from hobbies....;)
Congratulations, man! That's great news!

Priceless
Congratulations...
My second one is due this July.
Nothing...NOTHING...has impacted my life more positively than fatherhood.
Congrats man.
Hey my second is also due in July.
Fatherhood is a wild ass ride. The trying to maintain your cool at the complete and utter lack of reason is really hard. Gotta love that.
Hope the child is healthy and strong.
Congranulations! Another gamer in the fold! :)
Congratulations!!
Your whole existance is going to change but in the best of ways, so enjoy it because being a father is the best of things.
Congratulations!!
Congrats. And keep your players away from the child, no matter what sex it'll turn out...
