In which Spike reveals his secret love of Musicals.
Not those Rogers and Hammerstien or Iriving Berlin ultra Macho musicals. Oh no, this love that dare not speak it's name is reserved for Dr. Horrible's sing along Blog.
What?
You've never heard of it? Never seen it?
Get thee on line and learn to love again. It will touch you, as it did me, in places you aren't supposed to be touched. I think I have a rash...
Go. Now.
It was funny. I'm waiting for the DVD to watch it again. :D
Of course like much of the rest of that creators work, it had that kind of ending. Which I don't want to spoil.
I got it on my iPod (natch) which means that I've been watching it over and over again.
This means that now I have the songs going through my head ... the intricate, clever, intensely fast and boppy songs.
The songs that I should on no account sing in any public place.
It's a bit of a problem for me, but on the whole I'm quite happy with Dr. Horrible's impact on my life.
I thought the ending was pitch perfect and I keep singing "with my Freeze Ray".... and I didn't even put it on my Ipod...
Dr. Horrible left me cold, I must admit. But then, I _do_ like Irving Berlin and Rodgers and Hammerstein.
Edit: I like R&Hammer, not love them. Berlin's solid though. Gilbert and Sullivan are excellent too.

Burn The Witch!!!!
:p
I find it glorious. What happend to Joss Whedon's Wonder Woman?
I know this is a 'necro' from two years ago - but I've fallen in love with the DVD version of DR. Horrible's Sing Along Blog. Also I watch various versions quite often on YouTube.
When Neil Patrick Harris did a Guest Star appearance on "Glee" this year I kept hoping for a Dr. Horrible toss off reference.
