This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Its not "Chicago"  per se....


I've got an Aunt, Uncle and cousins that liove in Southern Wisconsin....their accents are like a "Lite" version of the accent heard in the movie Fargo. The cartoon that Howie Mandewl used to do "Bobby" - you can tell that is the region that family is supposed to live in .

 For that matter, when I used to visit my grandmother's town in Illinois as a kid - they said I had a southern Ohio accent - I didn't know there was such a thing till then.  (The little town is a place called Glen Ellyn, in DuPage Country west of Chicago as the commuter train travels....)
