This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Hey all, looking for rules for Martial Arts for Savage Worlds.  New Edges, New Powers, etc.

Please don't mention anything that just takes standard SW Powers and reskins them as abilities via Trappings.  Anyone can do that.

I already have the good stuff from Interface 2.0.
Even the the "cutting edge" storygamers for all their talk of narrative, plot, and drama are fucking obsessed with the god damned rules they use. - Estar

Yes, Sean Connery\'s thumb does indeed do megadamage. - Spinachcat

Isuldur is a badass because he stopped Sauron with a broken sword, but Iluvatar is the badass because he stopped Sauron with a hobbit. -Malleus Arianorum

"Tangency Edition" D&D would have no classes or races, but 17 genders to choose from. -TristramEvans

Martial Arts is one of the Arcane Backgrounds available in Deadlands Reloaded. Aside from the options in the DLR Player's Guide, The Flood Player's Guide can be found for free here and offers some new Edges and other goodies for martial artists. Beasts and Barbarians also has its own version of martial artists (the Enlightened) with powers and a number of Edges that could be quite useful. In particular, the ones that help unarmored fighters are especially good for martial artists who don't wear any sort of protection.

I was going to say "Deadlands", too, for a movie version of it. Though I admit I don't really understand why or how martial arts are supposed to work differently from other combat techniques, so maybe I'm not the one to ask.

There's also a "Ronin" setting/supplement for SW, but I admit I never was interested enough to purchase it.

There's the free Modern Martial Arts supplement from 12 to midnight:
