I suspect not, since he knows firsthand where that leads and he's got a family life going on, but my impression is he really is messed up in the head and he seems to have a habit of stockpiling weapons in various amounts so who the hell knows.

But writing and doing video blogs giving romance advice and whatever nonsense he thinks is fit to print, I've got no problem with him doing that.

Can we get back to how ubiquitous this stuff is on the Internet. iO9 tries to publish a neat article on LotR (http://observationdeck.io9.com/east-middle-earth-a-story-worth-telling-1691586234), then the comments are all about how prejudiced Tolkens work is, how there was too much white/Eurocentric. Just like the Strange thing the posters state stuff about Tolkens work as if it's fact that turn out to not be true. E.g. tolken did not use Orcs as a stand in for any real-life culture
