What 'bad things'?  I don't think you honestly believe that if he weren't occupied with his little hobby, he will go out and kill again, right? I think the guy is complete scum, but I still doubt that he is going to do that (and if he did, the very, very likely police monitoring of him and his family will be a much more effective preventive measure).
No, the 'bad things' he does in the real world - and was actually sentenced for as recently as last year - is writing and saying stupidly offensive shit (by French standards; so considering the Front National and their usual rhetoric, that is an achievement in horribleness by itself).
Now, I don't know enough about his game to come to a definitive conclusion about its quality. The snippets I've seen so far (and admittedly, that is probably the more outrageous stuff and not necessarily a good reflection of the complete work) seem to indicate however, that this game has a political agenda following the same endearing ideology as its creator. So, in the worst possible case, his occupation with RPGs is not so much an alternative to the 'bad things' he still does (opposed to the much worse things he did to his band member), but a continuation in a slighlty different medium.

It would have to be magnificent to be worth the resulting headaches, but if it was indeed magnificent, and didn't include any of his racial nonsense, I don't see why not.
