This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Quote from: Matt;806313Heck, I'd love to find a new, quality RPG. Period. (Not counting D&D rewrites as new.)

Too true, which is what makes games like Pendragon, which are so good - at least in my view - all the more valuable.

Pendragon is one of the all-time greats. I foolishly gave away my 2nd Ed. (and a metric ton of other games that sell for $$$$ now) years ago when I thought I was done with RPGs. I have 4th now and love it to pieces. Eem made my own GM screen for it.

It's also good for non-Arthurian games. I strip out the magic and play Ivanhoe-type stuff from time to time. Works like a charm for anything knightly.

I really want to adapt Pendragon for a Scottish Jacobite rebellion era (1745-ish) game. I'm just worried I don't know enough about the era for Pendragon's standards.

Quote from: Panjumanju;806293For a *whack* of pdfs. That puts them at less than $5 each.

(And I got mine when it was $26.)

I think less than $5 is a more than reasonable sum to pay.

$32 is not referencing the bundle, but the new single Pendragon pdf, Book of the Warlord.

Sorry, I misunderstood what you were referring to.
"Book of the Warlord" is the new one that isn't out yet, I think.
I was referring to the Bundle of Holding, as referenced in the thread title.
