This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I'm very interested to see what 3rd party 5E material is available.
I've seen a couple of scenarios, which was cool.

Please post what links you have.

Is 3rd party material officially sanctioned, or does it have to be stated as compatible or something in a round about way?

Necrozius

Although not campaigns or sourcebooks, Gale Force Nine is producing Spell reference cards.

I'd actually like to get my hands on these.

Mistwell

Goodman has several adventures out, and I heard Glitterdoom is pretty good.

You can legally reference the compatibility under Fair Use.  I.e., you can say, "Compatible with D&D 5th Edition™"*, but you can't include any protected IP in your product, so it really comes down to what's in your product.  Some folks are using the OGL to cover some of what they're doing.  I'm not.  There's no need for what I used it for, and I don't want to be subject to the OGL license (which you are if you include it).

So for my stuff, I just make sure I don't have any IP included (including rules), and stay away from trade dress.

Until we get the official license in 2015 sometime, that's how I'm handling it.  Once the license comes out, I'll use that officially.

*Very similar to what we see today with things like "Compatible with MS Windows™" or "Compatible with Dodge Dakota™"
D&D is not an "everyone gets a ribbon" game.  If you\'re stupid, your PC will die.  If you\'re an asshole, your PC will die (probably from the other PCs).  If you\'re unlucky, your PC may die.  Point?  PC\'s die.  Get over it and roll up a new one.
