This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Feedback required kind gentles! :-)

He asked for opinions. Must they all be agreement?

One might hope that they're all constructive.  Calling someone a troll, telling him he's a wanker, and going on to say you'd never be interested anyway?  That's threadcrapping.  That'd be like me putting my oar in on all the D&D rules topics: I don't like D&D and I don't play D&D, so for the most part, what the hell is my opinion worth there?
This was a cool site, until it became an echo chamber for whiners screeching about how the "Evul SJWs are TAKING OVAH!!!" every time any RPG book included a non-"traditional" NPC or concept, or their MAGA peeners got in a twist. You're in luck, drama queens: the Taliban is hiring.

One might hope that, yes.

First, I suspected he might be a troll; the original post looks very much like something The Rooster/Daztur/whatever would dream up to stir up shit.

Second, I didn't call him a wanker. I called the concept wankery. As I already said in the exact same post, I have nothing against him personally.

Third, guys thinks to himself, 'What this hobby needs is some good LITERARY adventures!' and asks if there's a market for them. My reply is, there may be, but I'm not in the market for that. That's feedback. That's a data point. If he wants more information, he can ask.

No, if every time he posted about his idea, I replied that I wouldn't buy it, that would be threadcrapping.

Oh, and you and the rest of the self-appointed thread-nannies can go piss up a rope.

Damn, I thought I was the only person who used that expression!

Also, I certainly think "Your writing tone is pretentious wankery" is damn useful feedback.

No, mine isn't, it's rambling anecdote and inappropriate juvenile humor.
You should go to GaryCon.  Period.

When will you get to the humorous bits?
Furthermore, I consider that  This is Why We Don\'t Like You thread should be closed
