Have you found any spots and just thought 'wow, that is so kewl' or where you've found a great quest start or item? If you think you've found something like this share it in this thread

A few rules though
1) No specific details, if the dungeon has the 'uber+20megakiller' sword in it, let us find out for ourselves (we can always pm you for details)
2) Give at the very least a rough location or even better a name

Okay to start with

1) NE of the Prison sewer exit, Vilverin, most people should have found this, but it has a number of secret passages and some very nice loot

2) SE of the Prison sewer exit, Sideways Cave, those with good acrobatics could have fun here and a bit of a jar dropper

3) W of Skingrad castle, ????, some cave system, make sure you have some cure disease potions

Well... When you come out of the sewers right at the beginning of the game, there are some ruins just across the lake. I got the greatest kick just exploring those, completely green, not knowing what to run into. And I found some hints about a greater plot which was neat (a plot which I don't know if it actually exists, or if it's just flavor text).
I'm sure there are greater places to explore, but it was a great start for me. Some good loot too.

Yep, that's the one I was talking about.

Far as I know thats genuine quest material, many of the quests start from points like that, which is a huge improvement from how they did it in Morrowind. Not that I've been able to track down that Captain yet :D

side Ways cave is a lot of fun but I really love the Goblin Fort near by it the layout is very cool.  Just this huge tunnel complex that weaves in and out of itself.

So far I haven't found any other ubber cool loot yet.  Some neat Goblin Shaman staves, but still I just like punching things.  They do however have a fantastic gold to ecumbrance ratio ;)

Are those the ones worth like 7500-8000 gp?

Haven't found any of those yet but I've found ones in the 1000gp range.

Ruins are well worth going back to at higher levels.  They level the creeps and drops to match your level.
  1. A robot may not harm a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
   2. A robot must obey the orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
   3. A robot must protect its own existence, as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Do the creeps and drops respawn after a while, or does the location stay cleared out?

They will respawn over time.

So far I've found 2 forts that were Vampire nests.  Vampires seem to have magical gear more often than not.

Can't say the one I found was any better than normal, I did however totally miss that I was infected and went on to become a vampire :D

Which is down pretty well, or at least better than in Morrowind

Because I don't intend on becoming a Vamp anytime soon how does it work in this version?  I remember in Morrowind, it was for the most part a novelty but ultimately pretty lame, especially when compared to the fun that could be had as a werewolf.

You catch Hemophilia (or whatever its called) 24 hours later you have a freaky dream and wake up a vamp, get vampirism level 1 (with a whole lot of stat and skill bonuses, ~+5, and a night eye+detect life power, which is damn nice), if you feed every 24 hours you're fine, if you don't though you go to vampirism level 2 (bonuses double +another power, but you start to take damage from the sun, which negates your ability to fast travel), another 24 hours and you go vampirism 3 (more bonuses + a power, more painage from the sun), one for more day and you cap out at vamp 4 (uber bonuses + powers, but you can' go into the sun anymore and everyone runs screaming away from you).

You can feed more often and reduce your vamp count and there is a cure quest, but it sounds pretty involved.
