This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Lulu is having free shipping sale from Thanksgiving through CyberTuesday. I did not even know there was a CyberTuesday, but I guess its a thing now. I thought it was CyberMonday. WTF, why not CyberWednesday?

Anywho, what RPG stuff on Lulu.com do you recommend? Anything that you bought that you found totally awesome and useful in actual play?

I picked up Orbital, the near future Traveller campaign setting. I haven't run it yet, but I have to say its very impressive, fairly large format book, with some excellent background information on running a SOL solar system only campaign with a more hard science bent.

I have been very impressed by Diaspora, so if you like FATE, it may be of interest.

I'll second the vote for Orbital. It is good stuff.
"Meh."

Other Worlds! :D

Although I hear it's a bit too storygamey and the author's a dick
Buy Other Worlds, it\'s a multi-genre storygame excuse for an RPG designed to wreck the hobby from within

Zachary The First

I think I'm going to pick up Simon Washbourne's Triumphant! Super Hero RPG. I was really impressed with the pdf of the game. There's also a color version, but that's a bit too pricey for me.

Oh boy, another Washbourne game I need to have... "gotta catch them all!"

Things that impressed me when I used the last 40% coupon:

Whitehack
(Edit: About this small OGL game we had a discussion recently.)

RK1 Knives in the Dark
RK2 Evil Wizards in a Cave
DW1 Lair of the Unknown
I was extremely sceptical because the publisher has no preview pages on Lulu but I made a leap of faith.
The RK modules are dual-statted, fairly old school style, location-based, sandboxy adventure modules. The stats are for Labyrinth Lord and Dungeon World.
The DW module has just Dungeon World stats but is otherwise similar to the other two.

Vault of Dreams
A collection of 10 short (magazine) adventures for the French RPG Rêve: The Dream Ouroboros (Rêve de Dragon). You'd need to stat the modules for whatever system you use (as I don't think you'll have the game the modules were written for). A small treasure trove, think of two issues of the old, first edition style Dungeon Magazine, with adventures that are a cross between TSR's UK modules and Harnmaster modules.

And then there's always Dyson's Delves.
Swords & Wizardry & Manga ... oh my.
(Beware. This is a Kickstarter link.)

For what it is (book of dungeons) this one pleased me mightily.  The keyed dungeons are things I would actually run, and the unkeyed are inspiring me to place treasure maps in my next game.

I'm about sold on Orbital and Play Unsafe, but can't make a direct recommendation yet.

I was going to suggest Whitehack as well.

I'm so sorry. I'll have to stop. :)

There you go! FtA!GN! has some great material that is easily ported into any old-school game, btw.
